Shanika was so great during the process. She helped with styling guides, sending me outfit ideas and color palettes for all of us which was very helpful. She was great with my daughter who was having a rough time due to being tired and cold. She was very patient and understanding. The pictures turned out beautiful. WORKED AROUND OUR TODDLER

Shanika did a great job capturing our family photos, which was no easy task with a toddler who was not in the mood! She helped position us and told us what we should do to make the photos look nice, which we needed because we aren't naturals at having pictures taken. When we got our photos, I was in tears with how beautiful they were. Her editing style is natural and perfect for what we wanted. I will treasure them forever!

I'm so blessed to have had Shanika by our side for the end of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. When she reached out I was a bit hesitant because of my previous experience with a doula. However, she was very reassuring and informed me about what a doula is. I learned so much more about pregnancy and labor than I ever had and this is my 3rd child. Shanika was professional and nurturing throughout our time together. I love how comfortable and confident she made me feel during labor and how she was able to guide my husband when he wasn't sure how to help. I'm incredibly lucky to be her first doula experience! I look forward to seeing her grow in her career and helping other women bring life in to this world.

Never felt rushed or forced

Shanika was amazing! I have a 2.5 autistic son who was a big concern during our newborn shoot, and she made him feel so comfortable and had so much patience with all of us. We never felt rushed or forced. This was my family's first time with a professional photographer, and she really made our first experience worth it.
