" How a person is cared for and supported during birth is a major influence, not only in how they give birth but also in how they feel about birth in years to come. "

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
TO ME
This work is deeply personal to me. Whether I'm by your side as a doula, behind the lens documenting your story, or both-my intention is always to honor your space and journey.
WHAT LED ME HERE
I've experienced a birth where my own desires weren't respected-where I felt unseen by providers around me. That experience not only shaped the way I support others but also taught me that
- I can trust myself.
- I am allowed to protect my space.
- Only those who make me feel safe truly belong there.
CHOOSING MY OWN PATH
That realization led me to choose home birth for my last two babies-to reclaim my voice, my power, and surround myself with people who honored my choices.
THE HEART OF MY WORK
This is your birth, not mine-but my experiences have given me a deep understanding of just how important my role is. You will always remain the center in the heart of my work

THE RAW BEAUTY OF BIRTH
The beauty of birth is like no other, it's witnessing the rawness, vulnerability, and incredible strength that unfolds in birth. I hold space for these sacred moments without judgement, with full presence.
THE POWER OF MEMORY
Photos have a unique ability to bring you back to the details you may forget: the way your partner held your hand, the tears, the laughter, the quiet strength. These moments deserve to be remembered and felt again.
EMPOWERED, TRUSTING YOU
I believe birth should be guided by you. You deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported in making the choices that feel right in your body, mind, and heart. I trust you!
WHY BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY
With my first three birth, my mom was the one taking photos and videos-capturing what she could during labor, birth and postpartum. But because she was behind the camera, she wasn't in the story. She was such a vital part of my experience-offering massage, counter pressure, and so much emotional support. I don't have photos of the way she stood by me in the shower, the way we laughed through contractions, or her expression when she met her first grandbaby.
Those memories live in my heart, but I often find myself wishing I could see them. To fill in gaps. To revisit the full story. When I planned my fourth birth, I knew something had to be different, I had no intention of having more babies. I hired a birth photographer. Those around me didn't fully understand why I'd want birth photos. But I knew. I was longing for something I wanted before but didn't get-a way to see everything I couldn't witness myself.
And I got that. I got to see my strength. I got to feel the energy in the room again. I got to witness my kids meeting their baby sister, and all the moments I might have missed in the haze of labor.
That's what I want to give to other families. Not just images, but the full story. A visual memory of the people who held you, the way your partner looked at you, the quiet strength you carried, the joy, the tears, the everything. So you can remember it. Relive it and never forget it.
Your story deserves to be honored in every way
